Looking for some lovin’? With Valentines Day just days away, here are three great ideas that will melt your significant others’ heart.
Don’t we all love traditions? Well, the classic 1942 film Casablanca has been playing regularly on Valentines Day. This year, the film is scheduled to air February 13-14 at the Brattle Theatre in Cambridge with multiple show times. Watch Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman fall in love as star-crossed lovers on the Eve of the Nazi Occupation, only to relive their love when meeting again at Casablanca. Head upstairs to Algiers for a bite to eat after. Then, finish the night at nearby Burdick’s drooling over their famous hot chocolate. The Brattle Theatre is located on 40 Brattle St.
Not in the mood for a movie? Good, because your date will love nothing more than a romantic Boston Harbor dinner cruise offered by the Odyssey. Sip champagne, enjoy live entertainment while dancing the night away and feast on a mouth-watering three-course gourmet dinner served in the classy dining room. Guests are able to gaze at an amazing view of the city’s skyline while the city floats on by and of course, each other. For more information regarding this spectacular dinner cruise or to make reservations, visit Boston-Discovery-Guide.com.
What’s Valentines Day without a little hockey? Watch your Bruins battle the Vancouver Canucks Feb. 13th at 10 pm. After, take a stroll downtown to the many local bars which have drink deals running all night.
Drink up the love and have a wonderful, safe Valentines Day!
